A Gold Medal winner (96/100 points) in the 2021 International Wines & Spirits Competition. The judges commented “Stunning nose of honeycomb, bruised apple and brioche – like a fine dessert with apple four ways. It has lovely poise, classy and complex all held in perfect poise by the bright quintessentially English acidity”.
A delicious Pinot Noir / Pinot Précose dominant wine blended with small amounts of Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay from the wonderful 2014 vintage. 60% of the wine spent six months in French oak barrel, to add richness and softness to the mouthfeel. Great finesse and complexity coupled with red berry fruits and hints of vanilla on the finish. Enjoy!
